When a production finishes processing, it shows up in the downloads panel with a status badge. Download it as a ZIP archive, or upload directly to Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, or Dropbox. Large productions split into multiple batches automatically.
The production downloads panel
After you submit a production export, it appears in the downloads panel accessible from the case toolbar. Each entry shows the production name, total size, and a status badge:
- Processing - Hintyr is building the production archives. You can continue working in the case.
- Ready - The production is complete and available for download.
- Failed - An error occurred during processing. You can retry the export or contact support.
Downloading production exports as ZIP
Click the download icon next to a production with a Ready status to download it as a ZIP archive. The archive contains the production documents, and any supplementary files you enabled (load file, manifest, extracted text). If the production fits within the batch size limit, you receive a single ZIP file. For larger productions, multiple ZIP files are generated.
Multi-batch production downloads
When a production exceeds the maximum archive size you set in the export options, Hintyr automatically splits it into multiple batches. Each batch is a separate ZIP archive labeled with a batch number (for example, "Production_Set_1_Batch_1.zip", "Production_Set_1_Batch_2.zip"). The downloads panel shows the total number of batches and lets you download each one individually.
Upload production exports to cloud storage
Don't want to download locally? You can upload a completed production straight to a cloud storage provider. Hintyr supports:
- Google Drive - Upload directly to a folder in your Google Drive account.
- OneDrive - Upload to a Microsoft OneDrive folder.
- Box - Upload to a Box folder.
- Dropbox - Upload to a Dropbox folder.
Click the cloud upload button next to a production in the downloads panel. Select your provider, authorize access if prompted, choose a destination folder, and confirm. The upload runs in the background, and you'll get a notification when it finishes.
Production export archive structure
The ZIP archive follows a standard directory structure. If you enabled "Organize by Custodian," documents are placed in custodian-named subdirectories. The load file and manifest appear at the root of the archive. Extracted text files are stored in a TEXT subdirectory mirroring the document folder structure.
