The Profile tab lets you personalize your Hintyr avatar by choosing a color. Your avatar displays your initials over the selected color. It appears in the sidebar, case member lists, and collaboration indicators throughout the application.
How the profile avatar works
Your Hintyr avatar is a colored circle displaying your initials (first letter of your first name and last name). It appears in the sidebar, the members list in Case Settings, and next to your cursor during collaborative editing. The text color adjusts automatically for contrast against your chosen background.
Choosing a color
Use the color picker to select any color you like. A live preview of your avatar updates as you adjust the picker. A swatch next to the Save Color button shows your current selection. When you're happy with the result, click Save Color to apply it.
Display name
Your display name comes from the first and last name on your account. The initials in your avatar are generated from these fields. If no name is set, a default initial is shown.
Where your avatar appears
- Sidebar - Your avatar appears at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
- Case member lists - Team members are shown with their avatar color in Case Settings and the case header.
- Collaborative editing - During real-time collaboration, each user's cursor is labeled with their avatar color and initials.
- Members panel - Organization members are displayed with their avatars in the Members tab.
Permissions
The Profile tab is available to every Hintyr user. You can only change your own avatar color.
